iRidi KNX UMC Integration Server - your custom home automation
Customized interfaces
Multi protocol integration
support for advanced logic
Visualization + iRidi UMC server
iRidi KNX UMC INTEGRATION Server - your home automation, tailor-made.
In terms of functionalities, UMC Integration Server is between UPC PRO and KNX Home Server. It integrates a little less protocols than UMC PRO but just like the latter, it allows you to create beautiful and 100% customizable interfaces.
Optimize your budget
UMC Integration Server is a KNX server and IP gateway all in one. With it you can manage your KNX, Modbus, Z-Wave etc. home automation as well as your multimedia, video door phones and IP cameras, voice control, remote control and much more.
Unique interface designs
Your customer wants a custom interface, perfectly adapted to his needs? iRidi Studio allows you to create customizable interfaces adapted to each need.
Impressive customizable interfaces
iRidi allows you to create beautiful interfaces. If you don't want to design your own interface, select a ready-made interface from the iRidi catalog.
And your home becomes smart
Automation of daily routine is the reason why customers choose smart homes. The UMC PRO server has built-in tools to quickly create basic logic: schedules, scenes, block diagrams, data exchange between devices.
JS is used for complicated scenes.
Loved by users
Integrators often use iRidi interfaces as a nice selling point. They present templates or interfaces developed by partners or create their own styles with a designer. Controlling from a blueprint or photo, copying another application's interface, complicated schematics, animation, trending, JS are just some of the things the visualization application can do.
Provides security
The visualization application runs on the local network without access to the Internet, which is suitable for high security installations. If remote control is needed, the encrypted connection via iRidi cloud is established with one click, the cloud works without redirection or white IP address.
Time saving
The iRidi cloud stores the interfaces and a server configuration of your objects. So you can download updates thousands of miles away from your client. All he has to do is download the update.
From apartment to museum
No matter what task you have to automate an apartment, an office or a car. The visualization application allows you to create a suitable control interface and you can combine all the necessary equipment with KNX into one system and define the logic on the server.
A server for every demand
UMC Integration Server runs on different platforms with different physical interfaces and power. It allows to optimize the budget by choosing an appropriate server for each project. And the settings remain the same for all servers.
Here is an example of 3 different platforms to choose from depending on the size of your project:
iRidi Server UMC: for residential home automation and commercial installations. It integrates an IP/KNX gateway and is mounted on the panel.
iRidi Server NUC: for large and complicated projects.
iRidi Server RPi: for small projects
A universal and multi-protocol solution
Drivers for professional systems are written in C++, their work is fast and stable.
iRidi is a universal gateway. Thanks to it, it is not necessary to use different hardware gateways from one system to another.
Here are some protocols compatible with iRidi:
- KNX
- Z-Wave
- Modbus
- 1-Wire
- SNMP
- MQTT
- SIP
- Global Caché
- Intesis
- Samsung TV
- LG TV
- Bluesound
- Tion
- Wake-on-Lan
- Yamaha
- PJLink
- Sonos
JavaScript modules
Modules for popular AV equipment and IoT devices are examples of possible drivers for controlling equipment.
To use JS modules in your projects, knowledge of JS scripting is necessary, but with it, your possibilities are endless.
Example of existing JS modules:
- Bluesound
- Bose Sound Touch
- DoorBird
- ekey
- MyHome
- Philips Hue
- Satel
- Sqeezebox
- etc..

Voice control
iRidi allows to integrate KNX, AMX, Crestron, Modbus, HDL and other professional systems with voice assistants.
Integration with IP cameras
Video streams from all modern IP cameras, ONVIF and PTZ camera rotation control are supported.
Graphics and trends
Numerous data visualization options.
Intercom
Audio and video streams, as well as door opening, are supported. Mobotix, Siedle, 2N, TrueIP, BusIP, DoorBird, etc. intercoms are successfully integrated. Call notifications are sent to a panel (smartphone) in any part of the world.
iRidi scripting
Built-in JavaScript and iRidi APIs allow for advanced visualizations, drivers to integrate third-party devices, complex project and server work logic, graphs and trending. The data is processed by the iRidi server.
Notifications
Many notifications are available:
- push
- sms
- messengers (Telegram, Viber, Slack)
- phone call (via SIP)
BYOD (bring your own device)
Are you creating solutions for hotels, offices and meeting rooms? - BYOD allows your customers to control a hotel room or meeting room from their own mobile device with a time limit.
Data exchange
The iRidi server allows you to define data exchange from KNX to other systems and vice versa.
Control your multi-room audio and multimedia equipment
Sonos speakers can not only be controlled from the app, but also used in scenes, routines and macros. Setup is easy, just enter the IP address and the widget is ready to go.
iRidi is compatible with a wide variety of audio and multimedia equipment thanks to drivers (Bluesound, Bose Sound Touch, Samsung Smart TV, Sonos, Sweezebox, etc.)
Secure remote control
Remote control guarantees a quick reaction in case of emergency - the house is online, wherever you are.
For security reasons, remote control only works via a cloud. There is no need to keep ports open or pay for a "white" IP address. Data is not stored in the cloud, it is only sent, and all connections are outbound, so hidden from an observer.
Unlimited number of control panels
A homeowner can add new users without increasing the price of a license. For example, guests can control a home from their mobile devices. A device used to access the iRidi interface is considered a panel.
Device status is updated instantly on the panels.
User control
User access rights settings are flexible. They allow an installer to delegate certain tasks to the user if the homeowner wants to change certain things:
administration of new users ;
setting up the server and house structure;
the logics;
configuration of the room interface and the main page;
notification types (PUSH and e-mail).
