The Akuvox R29C is one of the most advanced door entry systems on the market. It is equipped with almost all existing means of access. It features facial recognition to allow a person to enter without even touching the system, mobile unlock, QR Code to generate temporary access, a virtual keyboard to manage PIN codes, RFID, BLE, NFC (Android) and more.

Its screen can be configured to display the list of tenants and can also easily highlight information such as the concierge’s number.

The connected video door entry unit allows you to see, in real time, who is ringing your doorbell at home even if you are away. Connected to your internet box, it is installed in the place of a traditional doorbell and allows visual verification of the visitor's identity.

When a visitor rings the doorbell, you will receive, on your Akuvox indoor console, your smartphone or tablet, a push notification or a call alerting you to the presence of a person. You will be able to see who the visitor is in HD and wide-angle as well as talk to them. The door entry unit can of course be used at night thanks to its night vision.

Akuvox door entry units are SIP and ONVIF compatible. You can then retrieve the video stream on your SIP phones or on your video recorder for example.

 

Access your video door entry unit wherever you are

The IP connection allows you to stay connected 24/7 with the images transmitted by the video door entry unit.

The 1080p camera provides you with high definition videos to see who is walking up to your front door directly from your smartphone (iOS or Android compatible) or from a tablet.

Integrated infrared LEDs provide quality night vision in all circumstances.

 

Interact remotely with the visitor

The two-way audio link allows you to chat live with the visitor.

The video door entry unit has several relays that you can activate remotely from your smartphone, for example to open a garage door or an electric latch.

This door entry unit which includes an RFID reader, is able to distribute badges or RFID cards among the different users authorized to access the site, whether it is a business or a private house.

Cards or badges can be configured from the Akuvox web interface in order to assign each time slot and individual action plans.

For example, badge 1 allows access to the site from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and opens the portal. Badge 2 allows access to the site from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and opens the gate and door.

Managing QR Codes is very convenient to generate temporary access. For example, you can define the validity period of the QR Code and the maximum number of uses of the code. Then just send it to the recipient, who will simply have to display it on their smartphone or print it.

Facial recognition unlock is completely secure. No data is transmitted to the manufacturer and everything is stored locally. The 2 cameras ensure that the detection cannot be falsified.

 

SIP compatible

Akuvox door entry units and screens are truly SIP compatible. You can then configure your Akuvox equipment so that it can make SIP calls, for example using your SIP account. Thanks to this, your door entry unit can for example call a landline or a mobile phone.

 

Cloud access and subscription

Akuvox products can be used with or without a cloud. Access to the Akuvox cloud is through the SmartPlus smartphone app. For example, it will allow you to receive video calls, operate relays, generate temporary QR access codes, view visit history, trigger photo taking, etc.

If you purchase a video intercom and a screen from us at the same time, we offer you the cloud for life. Unlike the license you can purchase on our site, the version we offer does not include the possibility of making calls on fixed lines.

If you don't want a screen, you can choose to purchase a cloud license for a year or you can purchase a cloud license for life.

These licenses are valid for one residence/family, up to a total of 4 cloud users. Beyond 4 users, a subscription of 2 CHF per month will be required per additional user (for the 5th, 6th etc.).
