This extension module lets you extend the number of outlets and inlets of an IPX800 V4 or V3 card.
The X-8R lets you integrate 8 supplementary relay outlets to IPX800V4. It is possible to connect up to 6 X-8R to an IPX800V4, so adding up to 48 relay outlets.
The X-8R is also an autonomous device. When used alone, the X-8R enables piloting of outlets via physical switches in two possible modes:
Mode 1 (by default): The inlets control the relays (remote control switch).
Mode 2: The inlets control the relays in ON/OFF mode (switch mode).
The X-8R is also compatible with the IPX800V3. It therefore lets you choose to add either 8 relay outlets or 8 relay outlets and 8 digital inlets to your IPX800V3. In the second choice, the X-8R’s manual switches will no longer be available. It is however possible to change mode manually at any time.
Note: The 8 X8R inlets cannot be integrated into the IPX800 V4 scenario engine
