Z-Wave+ module consumption monitor in Din Rail format
This Z-Wave Plus module is used to measure the power consumption of a Single phase system of up to 65A. Its DIN Rail format enables installation directly into an electrical cabinet. The smart meter uses fast sampling of voltage and current signals to measure power consumption. The integrated microprocessor measures energy, current and power factor.
It transmits consumption to your controller via Z-Wave protocol but also has an LED display on the front of the case enabling you to connect an optical pulse sensor for a variety of additional uses (1 pulse = 1Wh).
With a wired switch output and an infra-red output, the Smart Meter can control additional DIN Rail switches. This enables you to have loads switched directly from the electrical board and controlled via Z-Wave. Particularly convenient for load shedding, to disable an entire sub-circuit in your electrical system, etc.
Connection of optional relays:
- Bistable 32A 4 pole switch, with infra-red control: ISK_BICOM432-40
- 2-pole 32A actuator, wired control: ISK_IKA232-20
Thanks to Z-Wave PLUS technology the module has improved range and faster communication. It remains, of course, compatible with previous Z-Wave versions.
This module also acts as a radio repeater maximizing the range of your Z-Wave installation.
