PRESENTATION
This PIR motion sensor (Passive Infrared Receiver) detects the presence of a person. It sends the information to a controller or any other associated Z-Wave device. Up to 4 devices can be controlled from this sensor.
The SP816 is powered by a battery, but it will remain in sleep state to save energy as long as no action is detected. After a programmable sleep state, it wakes up and sends information about its state. The batteries can be changed without unscrewing the sensor from the wall. It gives a visual warning (Led) and sends a signal to the Z-Wave controller when the batteries must be changed. It also has an anti-sabotage contact which sends an alarm message to the controller.
