Motion sensor

Temperature sensor

From motorised curtains and shutters to fans and thermostats, use the Z-Wave technology to keep the temperature at an ideal level. The MultiSensor 6 provides the intelligence to do exactly that. Within each sensor is an incremental temperature sensor capable of accurately measuring temperatures between -10 and +50 °C and signalling temperature changes to a controller or home automation box.

 

Light sensor

The Multisensor 6 digital light sensor measures the light level in a room in real time. Your home automation system will be able to intelligently maintain its ambiance. From the opening and closing of curtains to the adjustment of lighting to the perfect level, day or night, the MultiSensor 6 is the intelligence behind smart lighting.

Humidity sensor

Spaces such as bathrooms are kitchens can be too humid, while certain environments are often not humid enough. The MultiSensor 6 offers additional monitoring of humidity levels ranging from 0% to 100%, enabling the intelligent automation of fans, motorised windows, dehumidifiers and humidifiers. The MultiSensor 6 monitors your house on such a microscopic level that your home management system will be able to ensure your environment is truly perfect.

 

Vibration sensor

This measures the environment in which it is in, and it also measures itself. The MultiSensor 6 contains a seismic sensor capable of detecting and signalling vibrations. These slight changes can be used to protect the MultiSensor 6 - it will know if an intruder is attempting to tamper with it or if the sensor has been moved from its point of installation. It will also be able to record subtle seismic activity in your home.

 

UV sensor

Perfectly managing an environment requires understanding it perfectly. The MultiSensor 6 accurately measures ultraviolet light; the type of light that causes everything, from the bleaching of furniture to eye damage. The MultiSensor 6 measures the UV level of a room so that its environment can be managed by curtains, stores and lighting, and thus protect your furniture and health.

Self-protection

Now even more secure, the MultiSensor 6 offers protection against sabotage and monitors itself constantly to detect movements or attempts to breach the security of your home.

 

Secure communication

The perfect sensor comes with with the perfect accessories. The multiSensor 6 comes with 4 different accessories, each one aimed at making the installation of the sensor perfect for your home.

Perfect power supply

The perfect battery life is not perfect for each installation. For all these cases, the MultiSensor 6 can be powered from the mains. Simply connect it to your home's electricity supply using the USB provided and the MultiSensor 6 will be able to operate in an advanced mode, provided real-time temperature, humidity and light read-outs.

Perfect antenna

It is possible to design devices that are too small, which limits their functionality and creates performance and security problems. The MultiSensor 6 avoids all that, by offering the perfect balance between form and function. There are 5 different PCBs, 6 different sensors and over 2 years of battery life in its 42mm body. Better still, the MultiSensor 6 includes a perfectly designed antenna which can accurately carry out up to 150 metres point-to-point.

Outdoor sensor

Designed and calibrated to be as accurate as possible, the six sensors of the MultiSensor 6 are perfected to have an accuracy variation of only ± 0.2%.

 

Update of the sensor

A smart sensor that keeps getting smarter. You can wirelessly update the settings and firmware of the MultiSensor 6.

 

Battery detection

When it is operating on batteries, the MultiSensor 6 will send low battery warnings to your Z-Wave controller before it is time to change them.

 

Sensitivity

The MultiSensor 6 is sensitive to change. But it may be too sensitive for your needs. You can decrease or increase the sensitivity of the sensor from your controller or Z-Wave home automation box.

 

Calibration

Each MultiSensor 6 is accurately calibrated by Aeon labs. And you can also calibrate it, by adjusting the values of its sensors to be accurate for your home.
