At the heart of Doorbell 6 is its chime. Able to connect up to 3 separate buttons to your Z-Wave system, it will make sure that whoever is at home is aware that someone is at the door through its combination of audio and visual alerts.
Doorbell 6's wireless button sends alerts to the chime. In order to offer a strong wireless range and a 2-year battery life, each button utilises an ultra-low power 433MHz wireless signal, allowing the button's signal to easily reach the chime.
Each battery-powered button can be easily installed beside your door or gate with double-sided tape or small screws. Typically located within 90 metres of the button, Doorbell 6's chime can communicate with 3 separate buttons, allowing multiple entrances to your home to have a button within range.

Linked to two different wireless technologies, the Doorbell 6 button can be installed up to 90 metres from the chime, while the chime itself can be up to 100 metres from your Z-Wave gateway.

Powered by 2 12-volt A batteries, Doorbell 6's wireless button can run up to 2 years before its batteries need to be replaced.

Whether as a doorbell or an alarm, Doorbell 6 is designed to be heard. Outputting alerts at up to 110db, Doorbell 6 is 27% louder than previous models.
Waterproofing.
Designed to weather the elements, the Doorbell 6 outdoor button is waterproofed to meet IP55 standards and can operate in temperatures between -20° C and 40° C.

Built upon Z-Wave Plus technology, Doorbell 6 is secure. It uses Z-Wave S2, which integrates 3 different types of wireless security to prevent hacking and inerference by intruders.
