The Danfoss HC (Hydronic Controller) for underfloor heating is ideal for the management of heating systems in residential buildings. It controls underfloor heating and hot water systems. The system offers numerous advanced functions for optimum comfort and energy savings, and controls room temperature.
The Danfoss HC (Hydronic Controller) for underfloor heating includes the following: 10 short, secure outputs for 24 V NC or NO switches, relay for the control of the pump and boiler, auto-test programme, regulation through ON/OFF principle or PWM (pulse width modulation), etc.
The system can include several Danfoss HC for larger installations. The Danfoss HC is easily connected directly to a 230V socket, without additional transformers, and provides 24V power to all switch outputs.
Functions
- Control of underfloor heating and hot water systems
- 10 outputs protected against short-circuits with LED indicator
- Output for 24 NC or NO switch
- Valve operation guarantee on all outputs, even in case of temperature control. Every 14 days, the valve is moved for approximately 12 minutes
- Regulation through PWM (pulse width modulation) principle
- Relay to regulate the pump with automatic activation of the pump for 1 minute every three days, to prevent damage during standby periods
- Relay to regulate the boiler, only active when heating is required
- Automatic self-diagnosis to show the lost connection to the device
