Akuvox E16C - the perfect combination of access control and IP video doorman
theAkuvox E16C is an advanced combination of an IP video doorman and an access control system. It also has a mechanism for detecting the wearing of a mask or measuring body temperature at the forehead or wrist through optional modules.
Featuring a 5-inch HD color touchscreen, the E16C offers multiple contactless authentication methods, such as facial recognition (including mask detection), RFID, NFC, BLE, and QR Code scanning.
The E16C is a modern, elegant, contactless and highly secure way to unlock doors or gates. It is ideal for multi-tenant residential apartments/dwellings, as well as for shared commercial/office environments.
The device's face recognition verification can be enhanced for contactless access to doors with the addition of body temperature detection. Using the optional MD02 thermal scan adapter, the E16 will scan users' body temperature before allowing access, to ensure they don't have fever-like symptoms.
Double authentication
For added security, the E16CAkuvox can be set to require double authentication, using a combination of two of the device's verification technologies.
For example, users may be required to verify their identity using their smartphone's facial recognition and bluetooth, or a combination of facial scan and QR code to access the building.
Protection rating
The access control unit Akuvox E16C has an IP65 protection rating - suitable for outdoor applications and exposed environments (not suitable for outdoor use when combined with the MD02 thermal sensing module).
Communicate with your visitors or open the door to them with your smartphone, from all over the world.
The connected video doorman allows you to see in real time who rings at the door of your home even if you are away. Connected to your internet box, it is installed instead of a traditional doorbell and allows a visual verification of the visitor's identity.
When a visitor rings the doorbell, you will receive on your console Akuvox , your smartphone or tablet, a push notification or a call notifying you of the presence of a person. You will be able to see who the visitor is in HD and wide-angle as well as talk to him. The doorman can of course be used at night thanks to his night vision.
The Akuvox doormen are SIP and ONVIF compatible. You will be able to recover the video stream on your SIP phones or secure your video recorder for example.
Access your video doorman wherever you are
The IP connection allows you to stay connected 24/7 with the images transmitted by the video doorman.
The 1080p camera provides you with high-definition videos to see who arrives outside your front door directly from your smartphone (iOS or Android compatible) or from a tablet.
Interact remotely with the visitor
The two-way audio link allows you to interact live with the visitor.
The video doorman has a relay that you can activate remotely from your Smartphone, for example to open a garage door or an electric striker.
This doorman includes an RFID reader, it is possible to distribute badges or RFID cards between the different users authorized to access the site, whether it is a company or a private home.
The cards or badges can be configured from the web interface ofAkuvox in order to assign to each time slot and individual action plans.
For example, badge 1 allows access to the site from 6am to 8am and opens the portal. Badge 2 allows you to open the gate from 9am to 6pm.
QR Code management is very convenient for generating temporary accesses. For example, you can set the validity period of the QR Code and the maximum number of uses of this code. It will then be enough to send it to the recipient who will only have to display it on his Smartphone or print it.
Facial recognition unlocking is completely secure. No data is transmitted to the manufacturer and everything is stored locally. The dual-lens camera ensures that the detection cannot be counterfeited.
Compatible SIP
Doormen and Akuvox screens are truly SIP compatible. You will then be able to configure your Akuvox equipment to make SIP calls, for example by using your SIP account. Thanks to this, your doorman will be able to call a landline or a natel, for example.
Cloud access and subscription
Akuvox products can be used with or without a cloud. Access to the Akuvox cloud is through the SmartPlus smartphone app. For example, it will allow you to receive video calls, operate relays, generate temporary QR access codes, view visit history, trigger photo taking, etc.
If you purchase a video intercom and a screen from us at the same time, we offer you the cloud for life. Unlike the license you can purchase on our site, the version we offer does not include the possibility of making calls on fixed lines.
If you don't want a screen, you can choose to purchase a cloud license for a year or you can purchase a cloud license for life.
These licenses are valid for one residence/family, up to a total of 4 cloud users. Beyond 4 users, a subscription of 2 CHF per month will be required per additional user (for the 5th, 6th etc.).
