FIBARO Smart Implant allows you to improve your cabled sensors and other devices by adding a Z-Wave communication network.

You can connect binary sensors, analogical sensors, DS18B20 temperature sensors, or DHT22 humidity and temperature sensors, and the Smart Implant will send the measures to the Z-Wave controller.

It can also control a unit by opening/closing output contacts independently from inputs.

Intelligence with a great power

The Smart Implant is the intelligence of your equipment in the shape of a small cube. When it is connected to a unit, the Smart Implant extends its operation with enhanced capabilities. Nowadays the Smart Implant is the only solution on the market using the Z-Wave technology to change ordinary equipment into units compatible with the Fibaro home automation system.

Safe installation

The Smart Implant is powered by safety low voltage with a wide 9-30V span. It is protected against the detrimental effects of a bad connection (For example : wrong polarity).

Neutral for the apparatus

The use of the Smart Implant is transparent for alarm systems. It does not interfere either with the normal functioning of the apparatus.

Intelligent garage doors

Controlling the garage door with a remote control is currently the standard solution we use. You do not have to pay to replace your garage door by a new one or to invest in complex automation systems, as it is enough to connect the Smart Implant to the garage door controller to connect it to the FIBARO system and control it with the KeyFob.

An alarm system integrated in your intelligent house

Thanks to the Smart Implant, the integration of the wired alarm system in the FIBARO house automation system extends the functionalities of the movement and door/windows opening sensors, including the possibility to communicate with the intelligent house automation system. Moreover, it allows you to activate the alarm system remotely with a Smartphone. You can be sure that your property is safe and you can check wherever you are.

The heating system is now part of an intelligent house

The heating system is the one in the house which it is easier to automate. Install the FIBARO Smart Implant in the controller of your boiler and your floor heating to make your heating intelligent. Then, if necessary, you can modify the heating hours wherever you are with a Smartphone, a tablet or ... do nothing as FIBARO frees you from the obligation to manage the heating and knows how to take care of the comfort of each separate member of the family.

Sensors will make your garden intelligent

The Smart Implant is an opportunity for the gardeners who have equipped their garden with wind, temperature and soil humidity sensors.
