The Zipabox 2 house automation controller uses an advanced technology to hide the complexity of the house network and provides a simple intelligent house. It can be plugged to any electrical socket and communicates automatically with all the connected devices in the house, connects them to the Internet so that the users can control them by way of tablets, Smartphones, computers or TV, at home or remotely.

Easy to install and to use, Zipabox 2 is by far more cost-effective and rich in functionalities than traditional custom-made solutions. Zipabox 2 is the new brain of the connected and intelligent house.

How does Zipabox make every house intelligent ?
The Zipabox 2 has the capacity to communicate with a variety of protocols such as Z-Wave+, ZigBee, KNX, ONVIF, UPnP and DLNA (Via optional extensions). Moreover, the capacities of the Zipabox 2 controller can be easily expanded by adding extension modules which add the support of new interfaces and functionalities, protocols and communication standards, etc...

Once configured, Zipabox 2 becomes autonomous while still benefiting from the support of the platform my.zipato.com for supervision, e-mail and programming services. The friendly user interface allows the users to program their own rules and scenarii without any previous experience in programming.

A simple and friendly rule creation interface
Inspired by the MIT project "Scratch", Zipato has developed an online graphic tool for simple and amusing automations programming. Using the Zipato rule creation interface, users can easily create or modify any automation process in their house without any previous experience of programming or automation.

This tool is designed as a jigsaw puzzle, it offers pre-created blocks in which you can drag the icons of different peripherals and link them according to their shapes and colours. Child's play !

Take control from anywhere in the world
From almost anywhere, on the road, from your office or from the beach, you can check your house easily. With the Zipato mobile application on your iOS or Android mobile phone, you know what is going on even when you are away.

You can arm or disarm the alarm system, receive text and video alerts about event detection at your house, watch the video live via the security cameras, adjust the light or the thermostats, and much more.

Note : Zipabox 2 does not include any house automation protocol. The several available extensions allow the selection of the desired protocols.
