The POPP is a self-sufficient siren for Z-Wave security systems. With a large solar pannel, it can be used without an additional batteries or power supply. The siren can be installed in any space outside the home and controlled using Z-Wave technology. It allows for security systems to be heard and attracts attention in the event of an alarm.
The siren produces a very loud noise (105 dBm) along with stroboscopic light. In addition, the device features self-protection. In fact, removing the main block from its position will immediately set off the siren and send an alert of attempted sabotage to the Z-Wave Controller. All communication between the Z-Wave Controller and the siren are encrypted and secured for protection against misuse.
The large solar pannel allows the siren to be mounted on virtually any exterior space of the home, with or without direct exposure to sunlight. The siren thus requires no maintenance and is weatherproof (IP56). The average solar energy of a day allows the siren to be recharged for a duration of up to 50 days (without use of the siren).
